Always wanted a buddy?
Have you always wanted a dog but for reasons beyond your control not been able to have one? Now is your chance to have a buddy without the responsibility of vet bills, pet deposits, food costs, and other factors that may prevent you from having a furry friend.
EPAR’s buddy program matches eligible dogs with volunteers for day outings, daily companionship, office morale boosting, and other daily buddy adventures. Even if it’s just for a walk or a trip to the beach, EPAR foster dogs will appreciate the one-on-one attention. At the end of the day or outing, the dog returns to their foster home. |
While in foster care, some EPAR dogs may not receive the socialization and one-on-one attention they deserve due to time constraints of the foster parent. Sometimes, EPAR dogs find themselves in boarding due to circumstances beyond our control, such as loss of a foster or lack of space. EPAR’s buddy program aims to provide these dogs with much needed love, socialization, and relief for the overwhelmed foster parents.
To sign up, please fill out EPAR’s volunteer sign up form here. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age (unless under adult supervision) and have prior experience with dogs. |
